Series production began in March 2005. Today, around 1,000 vehicles roll off the production line here every day, currently the BMW 1 Series, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé, BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and the MINI Countryman. The BMW Group has already invested a total of more than four billion euros in the Leipzig location.
